Telecom ServiceNow PM
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager with a proven track record of supporting projects for ServiceNow in a Telecom company. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of specific modules within ServiceNow and ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements. You will join the Platform Data Team as they migrate, transform, and clean data from legacy systems into ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into ServiceNow requirements.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and manage project teams and provide direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project scope, goals, and deliverables are clearly defined, understood, and met.
- Monitor and report project progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate with ServiceNow developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of delivered solutions.
- Conduct project reviews and provide feedback to improve future project performance.
- Attend and be present in multiple back-to-back meetings while taking high-level notes for the team to take action upon.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Build relationships with others while learning their day-to-day.
- Be adaptable, flexible, and fluid with processes, changing priorities, deadlines, and job tasks.
- Help the team adhere to processes without the process getting in the way of the job itself.
- The team does not follow a strict waterfall or agile methodology.
- Assist team members with work as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager supporting projects following the SDLC.
- Experience as a Project Manager within a Telecom company is a must.
- Experience with ServiceNow as more than just a user is a must. You must understand the ServiceNow ecosystem and different modules.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering solutions on time, within budget, and meeting customer requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful, self-starter, adaptable, and organized.
